Organised by the CIVP, this annual competition under the control of the Directorate General of Competition, Consumption and Suppression of Fraud (DGCCRF) is reserved for the rosé, red and white wines of the appellations Côtes de Provence, Coteaux var en Provence and Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. The various juries, composed of professionals (oenologists, sommelier, technicians and journalists), are tasting the samples presented. Each edition thus distinguishes, by awarding gold or silver medals, a hundred wines of Provence in the three colours.
