VACANCES REPIT FAMILLE
The Vacances Répit Famille association was formed in January 2013, at the initiative of Pro BTP in partnership with the French Association against Myopathies (AFM-Téléthon). It includes associate members such as AG2R, Audiens, Lourmel, etc. and partners such as Vacances ouvertes, Loisirs Pluriel, etc. It offers an innovative solution that combines a vacation village and a medical/social facility so that a disabled, ill or dependent person can go away with them. The accompanying person can rest in complete serenity and enjoy an information, training and leisure program within the establishment. A professional team takes care of the person accompanied in the medico-social structure integrated into the vacation village. The VRF Touraine, in Fondettes, welcomes elderly people requiring medical and social support and their family carers. The VRF Les Cizes in Coteaux-du-Lizon welcomes people with motor disabilities. VRF La Salamandre in Saint-Georges-sur-Loire is for people with progressive neuromuscular or neurological diseases.
