A direct competitor of EDF and GDF Suez, Altergaz is a gas supplier. Less known than its congeners, however, it offers the most attractive prices. Supplied directly by the Italian group Eni - known in France for its Agip stations - the gas passes directly from the producer to the individual, which avoids any intermediary and explains lower rates. Rates are assessed according to regions. For example, in PACA, a citizen can see an economy on its invoice up to 6% per year compared to the state regulated tariff. Few people know Altergaz, and according to one estimate, 71% of you do not even know that it was possible to change gas suppliers. Others are afraid and are reluctant. Yet it is a reliable and internationally recognized supplier.
