ORDRE NATIONAL DE L'ORDRE DES ARCHITECTES
The Order of Architects is set up by the Architecture Act of 3 January 1977. It has the status of a private law organization in charge of a public service mission under the supervision of the Minister of Culture. It has the moral personality and financial autonomy and consists of 29 000 architects, all approved in architecture and holders of receipts which fulfil the conditions laid down by law for the exercise of the profession, such as diploma, ethics, insurance and civil rights. The Order of Architects consists of a National Council and 26 Regional Councils.
