LE CHEMIN
Among the establishments, Le Chemin, in Cesson, Seine-et-Marne, is the first residence for people under 60 suffering from Alzheimer's disease. This place of residence helps to maintain family ties and its medicalized home has a large technical and paramedical staff of 85 people (neuropsychologist, psychomotor therapist, physiotherapist, nurses, social worker, music therapist, art therapist, etc.) to optimize the chances of reducing the effects of the disease. The cost per patient, reduced thanks to the help of the Social Security and the department, is from 15 € to 45 € per day, that is to say 900 € on average per month. This centre was made possible by the 2008-2012 Alzheimer's plan and the determination of the Espoir Alzheimer association. It succeeded in convincing the State of the need to create a specific place for young victims of this disease
