CORAL CAY CONSERVATION
Formed in 1986, Coral Cay Conservation (CCC) aims to preserve and restore coral reefs and tropical forests. All projects are conducted in close collaboration with local communities and governments. In this way, CCC helps developing countries by providing them with the means to manage their natural resources.
What do they propose ? In the South Pacific reefs, CCC invites you to make seabed statements and collect information about corals. In the rainforest, you will participate in the action plan to preserve biodiversity by listing species in the swamp complex.
Where ? Malaysia, Philippines, Fiji Island, Honduras.
Profile and conditions. Most missions require the diving patent; if you don't have it, CCC proposes to get it in one week (400 £). Each mission starts with one or two weeks of training (350 £/week), then counting £ 200 per week of work. You are housed and fed, but transport costs are at your expense.
