Since 2004, the National Agency for Urban Renewal has implemented, with its partners (SG-CIV, DHUP, UESL-Action housing, USH, Caisse des Dépôts…), global and multi-annual intervention programmes. Their aim is to transform these neighbourhoods into standard districts integrated into the city. Through the National Programme for Urban Renewal and the Ancient Neighbourhoods Programme, ANRU intervenes on housing, roads, and public spaces, schools, shops, nurseries, multi-activity centres. The ANRU jointly multiplies its actions in favour of integration through employment. ANRU also acts for the development of boarding schools.
