There are 6 wine routes. Among the most well-known, the Saint-Emilion Wine Route, the Medoc Wine Route (mythical road of the Margaux, Saint-Julien, Pauillac, Saint-Estèphe…), the Sauternes Wine Route (the Bordelais Golden Gold), and the Graves Wine Route (Terroirs and Châroirs) Teaux). Of course, regardless of the route chosen, a visit to the magnificent historic heart of Bordeaux (classified as UNESCO World Heritage) and the Cité du Vin is required. In season the Tourist Office of Bordeaux offers no less than 60 circuits, tasting workshops, wine-tasting evenings, oenological cruises, «ready-to-go», etc.
