THE CLIFF ABOVE ETRETAT
At the other end of the beach, a staircase dug on the cliff leads to the summit, where the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde chapel and the monument dedicated to Aviateurs and Coli aviators are located. It is still the most beautiful view of the Creuse and Etretat Beach. You can then continue along the cliff by the GR 21, drop behind the front door by the stairs of the Chaudron - which, we say, tempers by storm time - then go up and continue to Vaudieu rock. If you still have a bit of courage - for 3 hours more - the walk can be extended to the Belval needle. For the brave, it can still extend to the Curé of the Priest, but the cliff is friable and the path very narrow.
