Every year, the Harriste church community celebrates the spiritual freedom of the black people at Brègbo (Ebrié lagoon).
The Harriste church community, which numbers around 1 million members, mainly in Côte d'Ivoire, but also in neighboring Liberia, celebrates every year "the feast of the spiritual freedom of the black people", which coincides with the traditional Feast of All Saints. This festival takes place on the holy ground of Brègbo, on the Ebrié lagoon. It is also a three-day pilgrimage. This event represents an important act in the life of the believers of this Church of African prophetic institution founded by the Liberian William Wade Harris.
