Since the introduction of the visa for French-speakers wishing to travel to Senegal, the procedure has been simplified. It is no longer necessary to physically go to the consulate. You can pay your visa online, and present your receipt upon arrival in Dakar. After passport control, have your visa validated in one of the offices specially opened for this purpose.
