A French-speaking country in Central Africa, Gabon is an exceptional destination, supported by a Ministry of Tourism and its staff who are highly committed in the field. This young ministry is deeply motivated to take up ambitious challenges to place Gabon at the forefront of fashionable African tourist destinations. To achieve its objectives, it is attentive to the needs of the sector, as well as hotel operators who are asking for simplified formalities. This dynamic team is already successfully promoting the country's riches, from its lush nature to the remarkable biodiversity of its many national parks, some of which are Unesco World Heritage sites. Not to mention its long white-sand beaches, hemmed in by crystal-clear waters teeming with fish, which are still little-known to the general public and French-speaking tourism professionals. The "Caravane touristique 2024" was a dazzling success with the Gabonese, who discovered their country in all its diversity. It raised national awareness of the country's immense tourism potential and the importance of investing massively in the sector. Already very active, this ministry aims to contribute to Gabon's economic and social development, while at the same time increasing respect for flora and fauna through awareness-raising campaigns. The aim? Attract more international tourists, by promoting this new flagship destination in Africa, which is sure to be the talk of the town!
