Perpetuating the carnival spirit of the city for 151 years, Bellinzona is transformed into the capital of celebration and entertainment during the week of Rabadan (carnival in the local dialect). On the programme: costume parades, traditional music from Ticino and Switzerland and the grand final procession dressed up on Sundays. It is a good time to visit the medieval city if you want to drink, eat and dance all night long!
