Vimpel Com Lao, better known as Beeline, entered the Lao market in 2011 after the acquisition of Millicom Laos formerly known as Tigo. Beeline is a telecommunications operator providing voice and Internet services through a range of technologies. Thanks to positive growth, Beeline constantly develops its network to offer wider coverage, it is also the first operator to deploy and launch the fiber in the capital of Vientiane. Its products cover all telecommunications needs including those of tourists thanks to a special offer "Tourist Sim Card". This SIM card available at Beeline points of sale at the Kip 15 000 rate includes 10 minutes of international call, 10 minutes of local call and 100 MB to surf the Internet. Refills are available in all grocery stores and allow international calls at half price.
