This ancient ceremony of more than 300 years is the most famous in the country. It marks the move of the Litunga (king), the queen of his court and his subjects from the flood plains of Lealui to the winter palace of Limulunga. A water procession on decorated boats that lasts 6 hours. The ceremony is punctuated by the beat of the royal war drums. On arrival, an evening of dancing, singing and festivities celebrates the successful crossing.
