On the 8th, on this holiday inherited from the USSR, women are honoured for their social, political and intellectual role.

This day is a tribute to women and the important role they play in society. This holiday is inherited from the Soviet era but remains very popular. Florists and especially the flower market in Chișinău are a hit! It is also a good opportunity to go out as a couple, have fun, treat yourself to a romantic dinner in a restaurant, have a drink in a bar or go to a disco.
