This English NGO has been working for many years in collaboration with Malagasy local communities as part of community projects for the conservation of biodiversity.

The association also cooperates with other associations, including Fanamby, to preserve vulnerable habitats and improve ecosystem management. Alaotra Lake and the Nisiovolo River are two of the sites on which the Durell Wildlife Conservation Trust operates.
