The "Day of Great Forgiveness" represents the culmination of the 10 days of penance that begin in Rosh Rosh. This is the most important day of the Jewish calendar, characterized by a 25-hour fasting, during which certain rules of the Shabbat (for example, do not work or light fire). In this respect, Yom is also called in the Jewish liturgy «the Shabbat des Shabbat». The day before, we prepare for the test of fasting by eating extensively. During this day, devoted to prayer and discharge, every Jew will ask forgiveness to God for his sins.
