THE JERUSALEM POST

Founded in 1932 under the name of The Palestine Post by Gershon Agron, The Jerusalem Post, until 1989, had a reputation for independence and seriousness. Since then, he has defended a publishing line similar to that developed by Likud. Despite a nationalist and conservative approach close to former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, The Jerusalem Post has largely opened its columns to opinion papers and investigative reports. This has not, however, prevented a lot of readers from losing many readers for the benefit of its main competitor, the English edition of Haaretz.
