Festival in Tidjikja aiming at the conservation of its old city: scientific and cultural conferences in the program.
Formerly called the Date Festival, this three-day festival takes place in mid-July in Tidjikja, on the Tagant plateau. This event offers scientific and cultural conferences, as well as artistic evenings. Ksar is the singular of the word ksour: this word refers to the ancient cities of the country, with fortified architecture. During this event are sought solutions to allow a better conservation of the old city of Tidjikja.
