"TAPATI" its origin dates back to 1966 when the island of Rapa Nui was named part of the Chilean territory, it is the most important festival that takes place on the island in tribute to their ancestors. It is celebrated every year between the end of January and the first half of February. Originally, this festival was dedicated to the inhabitants of the region, but today, tourists are invited to discover this wonderful culture where they show all their skills in maritime, gastronomic, sports, crafts, dance, singing, etc.
