It is one of the most characteristic folkloric festivals in the north of Chile: the festival of the Virgin of Andacollo, in honor of the Virgin del Rosario. For three days, the city is filled with colors, dances and music, Andean customs and traditions are honored. The holy image is escorted in a colourful procession. It is also possible to see the Chinese dances, declared intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO
