On the hills of Antipolo, the Valley golf and country club offers a private club whose course design is the brainchild of two renowned architects: an Englishman named Fred Smith and an Australian named Jas H. Scott. In the end, it was the latter's plans that were chosen. Open for play since 1961, it has attracted a large number of players and aficionados. The course's strong development led to the opening of a second 18-hole course in 1989.
