It's a great opportunity to meet new people and release endorphins! The milonga awaits you every day of the week and the parties usually start around 9:30 pm, stretching until the first light of day. Admission is usually $150. Wednesdays and Thursdays are the liveliest nights. To practice diving and motorboat navigation in Uruguay, it is essential to respect certain legal obligations in order to guarantee the safety of all and preserve the environment. For diving: A diving certificate issued by a recognized organization (PADI, SSI, CMAS, etc.) is usually required to practice scuba diving. Beginners can also take courses from certified instructors to obtain their certification. It is recommended that you take out diving insurance that covers medical expenses, evacuation and decompression treatment in case of accident. For motorboat navigation: A navigation license is required to operate a motorboat. License categories vary depending on the size of the boat and the distance from shore. Training and examinations are required to obtain these licenses. Boats must also be equipped with life jackets for all passengers, a fire extinguishing system, distress signals, a tracking device and a first aid kit.

Main events

Campeonato Uruguayo: The Uruguayan soccer championship is the country's main soccer competition, which usually runs from February to December. The matches between the two most popular teams, Club Nacional de Football and Club Atlético Peñarol, are particularly eagerly awaited and exciting.

Copa Sudamericana: Uruguayan teams also participate in these prestigious South American club competitions, which usually take place from March to November.

Campeonato Uruguayo de Rugby: The Uruguayan rugby championship takes place from April to October and features the best teams in the country.
