In the Okavango delta, the mokoro rides, these dugouts built in a single block of wood, are legion. In dry or rainy season, they offer a timeless nature escapade along the water. It is an opportunity to observe many species of birds and to admire beautiful landscapes. Some remote delta lodges are only accessible by plane or helicopter. The panoramic views are exceptional, especially over the herds of buffalo, elephants and zebras.
