Guatemala has a well-developed rail network. It's the quickest and safest way to get around the capital and to discover the immediate surroundings of cities such as Antigua, among others. Prices are also relatively economical: expect to pay 140 quetzales - around 16 euros - for the 45-minute journey from La Aurora airport to Antigua. Nevertheless, you won't find Uber drivers throughout the country; some areas are completely devoid of them. In this case, don't hesitate to take a cab or climb into the back of a tuk-tuk.
