When to go Namibia ?
Namibia's wide open spaces are surprisingly transformed by the seasons, and each season brings its own surprises and wonders. If you find it hard to choose between the magnificent starry skies of the dry season (April-October) and the superb sunsets of the wet season (November-March), a good alternative might be the off-season, preferably after the rains to take advantage of the rare green spaces.
Namibia has three types of climate: desert, semi-arid and subtropical. From December to April, very hot summer and rainy season (quite short though); from May to September, winter (pleasant weather in Namibia during the day and cold at night, up to -10°C at night in July in the highlands or in the desert) and dry season; from October to December, hot and dry season (best time to observe the wildlife in Namibia)
