This international equestrian festival under the auspices of the Emir of Qatar is an opportunity to see magnificent Arabian thoroughbreds galloping.

The International Equestrian Sword Festival takes place at the Racing Track and the Equestrian Club of al-Rayyan under the patronage of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamin ben Hamad al-Thani. The festival starts with the Qatar International Arabian Horse Show during four days. This is followed by the races, the two main ones being the Emir's Sword for Arabian thoroughbreds and the Emir's Trophy, the Emir's race, each with a prize money of 3 million riyals.
