ROUSSKAYA OULITSA (LA RUE RUSSE)
Tverskaya Street, also known as Tver Street, is the main radial street in Moscow, Russia. It runs northwest towards St. Petersburg, from Manezh Square in the center of the city to the Garden Ring. Tverskaya Street is considered the most expensive shopping street in Moscow and Russia as a whole, nicknamed Moscow's Champs-Élysées. It is one of the city's nightlife and entertainment hotspots. The street is home to many historic buildings, including the National Hotel, built in 1901 in the Russian Art Nouveau style. Tverskaya Street is also known for its many fashion and clothing stores. It is very popular with locals and tourists alike, offering a lively and dynamic atmosphere.
