At the beginning of the summer, Tun Payram is the major meeting place for Khakasse culture. The date corresponds to the end of the fermentation of the first airan of the year. After the traditional and shamanic rituals in traditional dress, it is time for sports competitions between clan men from all over the country: horse racing, khakasse wrestling, archery or stone lifting are punctuated by folk concerts and arak tasting (airan-based vodka). A very good opportunity to immerse yourself in the indigenous culture of this region on the borders of Mongolia.
