Festival to promote and enhance Creole culture through concerts, regattas, conferences, culinary workshops...
Since its creation in 2006, it has been a popular week-long event. The aim of the event, in a spirit of celebration and dialogue between peoples, is to make Creole culture better known and valued, as it is spoken by more than 18 million people throughout the world and constitutes a significant part of Mauritian DNA. The festival is accompanied by Sware Poezi, Sega Lontan (= traditional sega), Konser, Sinema an pleiner, Festival Kiliner, Defile Lamod, Regat, etc.
