French, one of the three official languages, is honoured for the occasion. See you at the Alliance française.

As a full member of La Francophonie since June 1976, with French as an official language (along with Creole and English), the country celebrates the language of Molière every year for a few days around March 20. Various events such as literary competitions and meetings, as well as tastings, exhibitions, a craft bazaar and a film festival are all part of the program. The event is largely organized by the Alliance française de Victoria.
