Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan month. For 28 days Muslims refrain from eating and drinking during daylight hours. The last breakdown of fasting is the occasion of a festive meal with a family. Since the country is a large Muslim majority, it becomes impossible to move on to the arrival of Eid-ul-Fitr, because most of the Bangladeshi people return to their native villages. These mass displacements can give rise to incredible photographs, with crowded trains and buses to the rooftops.
The month of Ramadan is not ideal for visiting or visiting Bangladesh because the country is slow in the daytime. Dhaka is invaded by beggars and infirmes from remote villages to benefit from the charity of the richest. The show can quickly become disturbing if you have the sensitive soul and you will be constantly asked. Since charity is part of the pillars of Islam, this practice remains very important during the holy month of Ramadan.
