JOUR DE LA CONSTITUTION
Go there and contact
This confidential celebration, dedicated to a Constitution that has been reworked many times, is the occasion for soothing retrospectives.
It is celebrated every year on August 30. The Constitution of Kazakhstan was adopted by parliament on August 30, 1995, almost four years after independence. Kazakhstan was the last country in Central Asia to adopt its own constitution, just as it was the last to create its own currency. The celebrations are not particularly festive, and consist mainly of flag-raising, official speeches, television retrospectives celebrating the country and its president, and concerts in Almaty and Astana concert halls.
