An important national holiday! During this Korean Thanksgiving, families get together to honor their ancestors.
It is with Seollal, another of the country's most important national holidays. This Korean Thanksgiving takes place on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, over three days during which we gather as a family, dressed in hanbok, honouring the ancestors with food offering ceremonies, visiting the graves... During this period, the country is idling because many shops and restaurants are closed (so you are advised to avoid travelling during this period as you may find many closed doors) .
