This is an interesting and unique way to spend your holidays. You will be housed in real Buddhist temples and live like monks according to their rules. In addition, you will be engaged in traditional rituals and traditions. Some temples have translators; others do not. There are 72 temples scattered throughout Korea. Prices, between 30 000 and 50 000 won, include 3 meals and interpretation, it is preferable to book (prices are staggered according to the length of stay). Note that some temples offer martial arts trainings.

The program begins early in the morning (4 h), monks and people staying at the temple meet for the Dharma ceremony that calms the mind and chasse the bad thoughts. This ceremony is followed by a meditation time Seon (zen). The rest of the day depends on the rules of each temple, however you can attend different Buddhist ceremonies and/or participate in martial arts trainings.
