Although not part of the European Union, Kosovo adopted the day of 9 May as an official holiday. This day is indeed celebrated by all the Member States on 9 May, in memory of the speech by Schuman, the founding father of the Europe of Nations. This demonstrates the political will of this young State to integrate the European Union.
