Kate Richardson, who had been acting as interim director of the Sint Maarten Tourist Office for the past 5 months, was officially presented as director on 1st April 2015 by the president of the Tourist Office, Jeanne Vanterpool.

The latter took advantage of the event to announce the launch of a €600,000 communication campaign to boost the destination by focusing on regional tourism and short stays during the low season

In view of the first figures, the 2014 - 2015 tourist season should have a positive balance sheet with a longer high season than the previous year.
