HOTEL FURKAT
The hotel's two floors, decorated with marble and wood panelling, overlook a courtyard where many staircases are left to the rooms. In the last free corner of the court, a new 3-storey building with 7 luxury rooms was completed in 2009. These successive aggrandissements mean that, in the end, for ten years, we have never known this B & B other than work and dust. The exterior lift project makes it a bit pompous and we can only lament, in the very pleasant interior courtyard, a cruel lack of sunshine and a feeling of suffocation. The rooms are decorated with care, without overloading, as are the two restaurant rooms. On the top floor you can see the domes and minarets of the Registan and, on the other side, the Observatoire Begh observatory. Some rooms view the Bibi Khanum mosque, but the windows are too narrow to really enjoy it. In the courtyard, you eat on tapchan. Furkat also has a second address a little lower on the same street. More summary comfort, kitchen at the disposal of the guests and lower rates (5 to 10 € for the simple, 10 to 20 € for doubles).
