What budget for activities and outings Madeira?
Entrance fees for museums generally range from €2 to €6. Some activities, such as the cable car or the Monte Tropical Garden, are a little more expensive. There is a reduced-rate ticket that combines entrance to the botanical garden with that of the cable car. Rates go up for water excursions (starting at around €35 per person).
The best plan is to pack a snack and set off to conquer the island's extraordinary landscapes. Hiking is Madeira's number one activity (and just as well, it's free!).
The cost of living in Madeira is a little higher than in Portugal. To buy fruit (local, of course!), target small street vendors, who are cheaper than the Mercado dos Lavradores, where vendors charge "tourist" prices. Generally speaking, avoid souvenir stores if you want to save money, and buy directly from supermarkets (especially for items such as bottles of poncha or bolo de miel).
Depending on the evening, admission may be free or chargeable (around €10). If you arrive before 1am, there are often discounts, or even free entry. Girls rarely pay admission (especially on ladies' nights or before a certain time). Check the program on social networks.
What budget to eat Madeira?
A prego em bolo do caco costs just under €5. The price of a meal consisting of soup, a hearty main course, plus bread, drink and dessert(pão, bebida e sobremesa) often varies between €8 and €12 for the most economical (restaurants in modest neighborhoods offering cheap formulas for employees and workers, self-service and small casas de pasto/cantinas and tascas/bistrots-taverns). For a meal in a restaurant, churrasqueira (grill) or cervejaria (brasserie offering fresh seafood and fish), expect to pay a minimum of €15. All forms of payment are accepted, although small restaurants may ask you to pay in cash.
If you're looking for a drink without spending too much money, look out for happy hour, at around 5pm/6pm. Cocktails are sometimes half-price.
What is the budget for accommodation Madeira?
The archipelago has accommodation to suit all budgets. The tightest budgets can opt for a centro de juventude (youth hostel) offering very reasonable rates (in Funchal and Porto Moniz in particular). Campsites are rare, but do exist (in Ribeira da Janela and Porto Santo). Again, they're very inexpensive. Next, consider a pensão or residencial, which, for a few dozen euros, will rent you a double room with simple comforts, but well kept.

To help you plan your budget and get an idea of what you'll be spending on site (prices per person):

Average budget: allow €50-70 for accommodation. A meal will cost between €20 and €30. You can add another €15-30 per day for museums and activities (rates vary widely...). As well as the cost of car rental (at least €20 per day).
