Join us on our 4-hour adventure to discover the Northern Lights! After collecting your vehicle and donning your winter clothing, your guide will take you away from Rovaniemi, into pristine nature, to give you the best chance of observing the captivating Northern Lights.We adapt the start of the excursion according to weather updates and solar activity, to ensure optimal conditions for the sky. Flexibility is essential: if conditions change, we can change location during the excursion. Over the course of the tour, we'll explore up to three locations, increasing your chances of catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights. A mid-tour break allows you to enjoy Finnish snacks by a cozy campfire, skilfully lit using traditional methods. Your guide will take you to one of the most traditional reindeer farms in Lapland. This family of reindeer herders is located just outside Rovaniemi, Finland, on the shores of a peaceful lake. Korouoma is a canyon fracture valley 30 kilometers long and up to 130 meters deep, located 110 kilometers southeast of Rovaniemi. It offers breathtaking scenery all year round, with cliffs, rapids and waterfalls. This nature reserve is also home to rare species and is an ideal natural area for hikers. In winter, the waterfalls turn into fantastic ice formations that are famous for ice climbing and are a great attraction for tourists from all over the world.Your guide will take you to the Korouoma canyon for a beautiful hike in the nature reserve. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy the incredibly peaceful atmosphere of the local forests. Depending on the time of year, you'll be able to observe all the colors and shades that Arctic nature has to offer! In spring and summer, Korouoma is an oasis of green silence, where you can recharge your batteries. In autumn, nature shows its beauty in truly colorful ways! In Finland, we call this period of transition to the long winter ahead "Ruska".
