When to go Netherlands ?
The country is pleasant to visit in all seasons. However, spring is the preferred season, thanks to the mild climate and the beauty of the flower fields, although precipitation and wind can sometimes disrupt visits. During the holiday season, Christmas markets are also very popular. If you're on a tight budget, it's best to avoid periods like King's Day or New Year's Eve, which can add extra costs.
The weather can change very quickly. In general, the Netherlands has a temperate oceanic climate with strong winds and short, unpredictable showers. There are rainy months in July when the temperature does not exceed 20°C, but with clear skies it can easily reach 25°C and, as in any southern city, people walk around in shirtsleeves. In the winter, the temperatures oscillate between -1 °C and 5 °C on average.
