Families will be delighted by the infrastructure of amusement parks and children's playgrounds all over the country, but especially in Wallonia, where you'll find Walibi, the country's main theme park.

Hotelspas are legion, from small saunas to full spas with swimming pools, whirlpools, hammams and massages. Spa resorts, particularly in the town of Spa, which has given its name to today's wellness centers, are ideal for relaxation.

What's very local

The Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure have more kilometers of coastline than the Belgian coast: 70 km in total, suitable for relaxation and water sports. There are more and more activities (nature, recreation and relaxation, sports). The leisure offer is very complete. In addition to the various water sports; kayak and stand-up paddle, jet-ski and water-ski, sailing and ski-lift, you can go hiking, mountain biking, paddling at the Aquacentre, do a course of accrobranches and tyroliennes, take the red Crocodile (amphibious vehicle), visit the Plate-Taille dam, play laser game, practice aqua-golf... Main events

Belgium organizes numerous marathons across the country every year. Exactly 42 km of running, taking place in Wallonia in various towns and villages. Among the most important are the Marathon international de Namur on April 7, 2024, Les Boucles Ardennaises in La Roche-en-Ardenne on June¹, 2024, the Marathon du Brabant wallon on August 15 in Ramillies, and the very funny and famous Beer's Lover Marathon in Liège on May 12, 2024; also in Liège but more serious, the Maasmarathon de la Meuse, on May 5, 2024.
Flanders is not to be outdone, with the Ghent Marathon on March 24, 2024, the Great Breweries Marathon, in Puurs, on May 5, 2024, the Port of Antwerp Night Marathon on October 20, 2024, the Natuurmarathon Tessenderlo on October 19, 2024 which, as its name suggests, is set in the countryside around Tessenderlo, the Vuvuzela Run, in November 2024 in Ham.
Brussels organizes only one, the Brussels Airport Brussels Marathon, on September 29, 2024, whose route runs from the airport to the city center. Not a marathon, but more popular, the Brussels 20 kilometers will bring together thousands of participants on May 26, 2024.
