OOIDONCK CASTLE
A summit of the Flemish Renaissance architecture, Ooidonck castle is a veritable princely residence rebuilt at the end of the th century on the ruins of a fortress. Its low and rounded shapes develop a long, rousse, static and eventful composition at a time. Eight bulbs highlight its grey roofs, including the small rikiki of the clock turret, from inside the park. On the first floor, the large gallery displays the suite of Tapisseries tapestries, illustrating Alexander's triumphs. Furniture and works of art in abundance. The park is a large and beautiful French garden which is visited every day for the modest amount of € 1 (€ 0,30 for a child).
