Three generations in chocolate! La chocolate was created in 1946 by Ms Fronville, aunt of Étienne de Hucorne. At the end of his aunt's activities in 1974, Étienne de Hucorne, pastry-chocolate maker, took over the chocolate maker with his wife. In 1993, he decided to create Tea-Room pastry in the Saint-Loup neighbourhood of the old Namur. This is the famous House of Desserts. Today, with their two sons, Claire and Étienne de Hucorne are leading Masters of two essential institutions in the Hanzinelle landscape. The Chocolate chocolate shop, located on rue de Fer, offers numerous chocolates but also the Biétrumé, an exclusive caramel proposed by the house of Hucorne, with fresh baked cream, roasted hazelnuts, in two flavours, biétrumé butter and chocolate biétrumé. Also in shelves the tablettes chocolate tablets, base praline, base hazelnuts, milk, milk milk, milk milk… The House of Desserts, located on the rue Haute Marcelle, offers a choice of countless pastries, chocolates, macaroons and also a small, trendy restaurant in the exceptional surroundings of a 17 th century building.
