AMBASSADE DU DANEMARK
The Danish Embassy in Paris is the place where French nationals can obtain information and consular services for travel to Greenland and the Faroe Islands. To travel to Greenland, a valid passport is required, while for the Faroe Islands, a French national identity card or valid passport is necessary. Nationals of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland can visit Greenland and the Faroe Islands for up to 90 days without a visa, for tourist purposes. However, if their stay exceeds 90 days for work or study reasons, they must apply directly to the Immigration Service. It is important to note that Greenland and the Faroe Islands are not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen visas are not valid for these destinations. It is advisable to make an appointment in advance.
