The National Dogsled Race is a highly prestigious sled dog race known as "The Great North Race". It is held every year in the north of the country in a different town, Ilulissat in 2024. Participants are mostly fishermen and hunters, who sometimes travel hundreds of kilometers with their dogs to reach the nearest heliport!
