Música als Masosis a festival born in July 2016 with the aim of expanding the cultural offer of the Garrotxa region (Girona Province, Catalonia) with small format concerts.
The festival aims to offer attractive musical programs in special environments that offer the best conditions for good listening. For this reason, it is located in the rooms of historical houses and buildings, and farmhouses of La Garrotxa, which, while maintaining their original appearance, guarantee an authentic atmosphere and exceptional acoustics.
Each concert lasts about 50 minutes without a break and is aimed at an audience of 30 to 50 people depending on the space. The groups that perform here are chamber music groups, from duos to sextets. The performers belong to the musical reality of the country, which establishes a link between the places where the concerts take place and their inhabitants.
Considering that the locations of the places and the time of the year allow to enjoy unique spaces and landscapes, the concerts end with a wine tasting at the Vinyes dels Aspres cellar, which also bets on quality and proximity.
