Timetable
Greeks go out late, often on Fridays and Saturdays, and usually from 10 pm onwards. To obviously return early in the morning. In the evening, we live to the rhythm of the moon! The summer cinemas, in the open air, usually offer a second screening around 10-11pm because it has to be dark for the projection. The clubs and nightclubs open around midnight and stay open until the early morning, around 5-6am and depending on the number of people.
Budget & Tips
Going out doesn't have to be expensive. Many students (among others) take a drink to go and happily occupy the sidewalk of establishments that give concerts. For the summer cinemas, you will have to pay between 5 and 8 € per session, depending on the day. The reduced rate is usually applied on Mondays.

As everywhere, for the popular addresses, restaurants and cocktail bars, it is better to book your table by phone or on the websites of the establishments. The Facebook pages are good information to know the animations and lives programmed.

What's very local
Drinking coffee is an institution in Greece: you can stay for hours with a freddo or a frappé for a few euros, without having to renew your order. Be careful though: the coffees are not cheap. At 4 € for a frappé, sometimes it is understandable that some customers linger..
Smokers
In the street, in the parks, on the café terraces, nobody will reproach you for smoking. In the cafés, many smokers do not respect the law, without any trouble.
