If many cultural sites are free in Andorra, many others are not and usually cost between 3 and 10 € (maximum). The good plan here is the PassMuseu! Andorra's tourist office has set up this cultural passport that allows you to benefit from preferential rates to visit many of the Principality's museums. The price is set at 2.50 € and gives you a 50% discount on the price of admission to three of the country's nineteen museums: the Motorcycle Museum, the Museum of Sacred Art, the Thyssen Museum of Andorra, the new Bicycle Museum (Bici Lab Andorra)... To take advantage of this discount, you must present this passport at the entrance of the chosen museum. Each passport is personal and non-transferable, and each discount coupon is valid for a different museum. In each museum, your PassMuseu will be stamped to validate the discount. Winter. Andorra now boasts several ski areas, Grandvalira, Pal-Arinsal and Ordino-Arcalís, with a total of 300 km of pistes. Services are comprehensive: funiculars, gondolas, ski lifts, chairlifts, ski schools, artificial snow cannons, kindergartens... not to mention two facilities that are a must for snowboarders: Freeride Area and Snow Park. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Andorra's ski areas offer a thousand other ways to have fun on the snow. Shopping is by no means a new activity in Andorra. On the other hand, although the principality is not known for its nightlife, it does host a few particularly recommendable music festivals. The National Chamber Orchestra of Andorra and the National Choir of Andorran Singers, for example, are part of the country's musical tradition: they are the principality's greatest representatives of classical music and perform frequently. The Montserrat Caballé classical singing competition (named after its president, a famous Spanish soprano) allows these opera singers to be discovered and promotes Andorran culture abroad.
What budget to eat Andorra?
There's something for everyone in Andorra: from the small toda la vida serving tapas and snacks, or the budget burger and pizza restaurant (you can usually get by for €10/15), to gastro restaurants with prices approaching €100 (wine included). As for bordes and other traditional restaurants, you can generally get by for €30/40.

Travel budget Andorra and cost of living
The budget starts with the trip. It all depends on where you are coming from (Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux...), and by what means of transportation you are traveling (car, train, plane...). Hotel prices vary according to the number of stars, the city and the time of the year. Let's say that the first price for a hotel room is around 30 €, and can reach 300 € a night in a luxury hotel in high season. Prices increase in high season, between December and March, and then secondarily from June to September.
Small budget. Prices start at around 30 € per night per person in Andorra, in modest hotels. There is a wide range of accommodation in the major cities. In the smaller cities, prices can be more attractive, but it is better to book in advance. As for restaurants, you can eat in snack bars and other small cafés for less than 10 €, especially at lunchtime. If your budget is limited, it will be more difficult to taste good traditional cuisine, unless you find a borda that offers menus for less than 20 €. As far as activities are concerned, small budgets will be confronted with a much more affordable offer than in France, despite the increase in prices during the winter period. Hiking, in particular, is free if it is not guided. Horseback riding, for example, can be done for 20/25 €. On the other hand, you can fill up on culture, museums cost only 3 €. Many sites can also be visited for free, such as the Romanesque churches.
Average budget. A night in a 3 or 4 star hotel varies between 50 and 100 € per night and per person, including breakfast. The menu in these hotels will cost between 15 and 20 €. If you want to eat out, don't worry, Andorra is full of excellent restaurants that cost between 25 and 50 €. In terms of leisure and relaxation, horseback riding, climbing, swimming, quad biking are all activities that fit into an average budget. If you find that you don't have enough, the sports centers in the cities offer access to all their equipment. If you like comfort, don't hesitate to look for a 4-star hotel, the prices can be quite reasonable, especially if you look at the offers available on the hotels' websites.
Big budget. A night in a 4-star or 5-star hotel ranges from 100 to 300 € per person with half board. While seasonal offers can be interesting, you can indulge yourself in the higher-end hotels. A 5-star hotel can be ideal for a relaxing and spa-like stay. As far as food is concerned, you rarely leave a restaurant with a bill of more than 60 € per head, unless you eat like an ogre and take three menus. For activities, nothing will seem expensive, but if you want to treat yourself, take a helicopter or hot air balloon ride.
